A top floor flat with a huge SW facing terrace.

This property was a top floor flat with a very spacious  32m2 terrace which was south facing - and which was the reason I chose this flat for my next renovation. The flat itself we made into a two bedroom 1 bathroom flat as space was limited but we created a dining area for six under a white awning, and  a separate chill-out area with Acapulco chairs, an exterior geometric rug, and tree trunk tables, all on a hard wood decking, and divided by white stones and large plant pots filled with red geraniums. a LED light around the edges provided additional ambient lighting for evenings.

The interiors were, out of necessity since the spaces were small, simple and white; the kitchen being completely open to the living room was all white with a mirrored splashback to reflect the fabulous light from the terrace and create the feeling of more space. Both bedrooms were very simply decorated in monochromatic white and black with brass lamps and gold mirrors, and coloured throws. The living area was decorated with dusky pinks and dark red, again with gold accents in the form of candles and art work.
